There's just something about these old Stangs. The new ones look kinda cool, but honestly, none of the modern cars have the same character. Look what they have done to the Corvette, it looks like a larger version of some japanese import. They completely killed off the firebird. And the Camaro will probably be next to go. It's just a shame that our kids and grandkids will probably never see the cars that used to make us drool with envy as kids. lol This Pony is looking awesome. Keep up the good work.

To me honestly the new muscle cars are 1/2 tons and japanese cars! I mean you can get a 240sx for $2500 a rx7 or rx8 for 2000-5000 and make it a monster for under 7000 bucks! I hate the camero and where I live there's a certain kind of person that drives them that's more of a prick then (most) BMW drivers! When I meet up an tail gate with my friends and such when we start doing the back road races it's usually 90s firebirds(cheaper than a camaro), 2000s gtos, any half or 3/4 ton like my own, and some wicked japanese cars that look crap but go like a bat out of hell!

Great to see the progress everyone's making with their build for this contest. I wanted to ask all of you to NOT reveal your finished product. Find a stopping point where you can stop sharing progress pics. I think it'll be a bit more exciting when the polls are up and we see each other's masterpieces. As soon as you finish, just post "BUILD COMPLETE". And send me the pics. Once I get everyone's finished pics or the deadline comes, whichever happens first, I will set up the poll.
Reminder: deadline is September 31st
