If only Dodge went down the same track as Chevy with the Elcamino route. This was NOT done by me, it was done by my son a couple of years ago. It started as the Fast and Furious Charger, a bit of a dog of a kit, but, i think that is why he chose to do what he did to it. The roof was moved forward and also chopped at the front to keep it level, and then made a rear window and filled the sides of the tray. The goal was to make a convincing Mopar ute, that a Mopar guy would have , and could have been factory.

Dale, Your son, (how old?) DONE WELL!
A few questions, even on your UTE, thats 1:1 scale. the rear, no tail gate? Yes, no? See, that "project" we have talked about in PM, I have unsure of what I am gonna do with the tail end....I may leave it, OR make the whole part thats there now, be a tail gate, I haven't decided on how or what I am gonna do there, EVERYTHING else will be as I mentioned, and have planned, no issue there...
I love the bald tire in the back! Thats a GREAT detail! The question is that silver part looks like half a engine block, BUT could be a bottom of a head too showing the "wedge" combustion chamber! Which if thats what it is, thats a nice detail too!
Tell your son thats GREAT work!

Your son did a good job on this deecee. It's good you have modeling to do together. My son and I were close and he was an honor roll student 4 yrs in a row. Then he hooked up with a gang, became a gangster and got on drugs and he has been in prison for the last 12 yrs. Keep the boy close and modeling deecee.

On behalf of Adam, THANKS!! jOHN, he is now 17, he was 15 when he did this one, the head in the back was 100% scratch, likewise the jerry can aswell. Big D, sorry to hear that mate, that would be damn tough to take i reckon mate. I am very lucky, we have been modeling together for about 8 years, i only have his company of a week-end, so try to make the most of it, thats for sure. CC, only in America could some one come up with that one mate,

Tell Adam when ya see him he done damn good on that one! As Dennis said, keep him close, it will help the boy years done the road!
My daughters 9, and shes a Mopar nut and drives the wife crazy when they're out together in the car and the daughter sees something she and I have seen and I hear it when they return home, the wife gets it from both of us. yep shes my daughter no doubt in my mind, LOL
When my '67 is back on the road shes been talkin of muddin and going to play......its a beast, sure is she loves it!
Dennis, I'm so sorry man, that has to be hard........... I sort of have a brother like that, not in jail right now, but in and out for little crap. However its only the 2 of us, and hes 10 years younger then me so..... Makes it difficult, I sadly haven't seen nor heard from him since our Mom passed away 4 years ago.....And to add to it, I'm not even sure of where he is these days.....So, yeah, its difficult, and it haunts ya....being your son, thats really got to be difficult!

Dale, your son done a righteous job on this. Moving the roof to get proportions right, he has a good eye. The couple of bits he scratch built. Sweet job overall. I like utes too. I wish they had caught on here in the States better. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon
