I am one of those people who dislike these show rod things, (sorry, just my opinion) they make great donors, usually for wheels and engine, now having said that, you have done an extraordinary job on this one , all the little details, love what you have done with the gauges, i put some canopy glue over mine, with the same great result. Just spotted the dirty crud looking stuff in the bottom of the hand basin, nice touch, good thing it doesn't have a loo. Great job mate, great job!! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

You crack me up DeeCee. I'm glad I didn't put a loo in it too I would have to put some detail in it you know. It's alright you don't like these. I'm glad you liked this one though. I have around 20 of these things so you might see more. I thought they would be great slump busters but when I build one I try to make it as good as I can and they get to be as complicated as a complicated one! Everybody has certain models they like and those they don't like and won't build. That's what I like about this hobby you can build what you want the way you want it.

I'm glad you liked the build coyote and what deecee said wasn't that darn funny! Thanks a lot deecee 'ol buddy. Seriously, you will see gold someplace in a lot of my builds. I did some gold prospecting for several years and did quite well at it. I've had gold fever a long time.

GHK, I picked up this kit about 4 yrs ago when I started modeling again and didn't think I could make much out of it until I started building it. I thought it came out pretty good. That Doyusha kit you have is seriously rare. I have built the Doyusha show car with the twin engines, can't think of the name of it, I'll post it sometime soon. I have been to your site I'll drop you a line soon about some decals.

It is an old one Sharp and does go for big bucks now but hey, don't they all! I can't believe the prices kits are going for now. Even Lindberg kits that were 8 or 10 dollars are $20.00 and higher now.

Kewl thank you, but I am on stand by right now, as my Alps does not like to deal with XP, and the canon, well lets just say, it fits in the parts boxes now, and I have some odd kolor issue going on with the HP, but I think I might have that worked out, really bummed out about the alps, BUT, gonna go and build a virtual machine, see if that works, just a software program for my comp, if not, then the new comp will get completely striped out, and a win 95 system will be installed, we call that toy the junker, but as usual it's all up to my brother Mike, and his time constraints, this was supposed to be in full swing, ummmmm like back in July. but thank you...... Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread

You got it man! It be gettin the "Golden Hemi".......Pro-Stock Bee. the 1970 I presume.. my FAVORITE car! I got 3 of them! 2 I built years ago in pieces that are gonna be rebuilt, multiple moves didn't do them any good unprotected as the General Lee I had faired the moves....So, they will become something other then they are! Then I have a brand new kit, NOT sure of its fate currently, and then I have 2 stock versions of the car too......I got serious plans with these 2.....

These show cars are crazy and stupid, but I find a strange attraction to them. Guess that explains my first marriage Any way, very nice build Dennis. Most excellent.

Skip they are crazy and stupid and the first time I bought one I thought "What the hell did I buy this kiddie model for" but you know they are fun. I have to change things and detail them more and some of them are not easy builds.
