Big D, Thats nicely detailed! WHERE do you find the fittings? for say the fuel lines and such? I make as much of that as I can on a lathe but those look NICE!
As far as your posting, type first and then your "type" add the pic URLs, and code and then type under them! OR one or one of the 2, above the image code or below it.....
Hope this makes sense!

That is a cool build mate, the engine detail is exceptional. (after you add a URL, tab down so the next one will position under it, as it will always place where your cursor is positioned).

That engine looks great, Dennis
Your hand might of slipped on the mouse and out the cursor in between what you had typed. You can always go back and edit it. I changed this one around for you. Does that work for you?

Hemi, I wish I could make the fittings on a lathe. I had to learn some tricks on the fittings. I like using them a lot but being disabled and on a fixed income I have had to try to find the best bang for the buck. Pro Tech fittings are good but they only have one type. The ones on this car are Detail Master. They have 3 types. compression fitting, which I like a lot, pipe fitting. which is what you see on this engine and adapter fitting which is small and I don't use it much. Compression fitting is the tapered fitting you see on the radiator hose although those are the big ones they come in the smaller sizes also. I hate how much they cost. $9.00-10.00 a bag of 8. I learned to buy their combination fitting which is all three fittings connected together. 8 in a package. I can cut them apart rolling them under a hobby knife and get 8 of each kind or 24 fittings for my $9.00. I'm trying something new now and so far I am satisfied with it. If you look at my Stoned Hoods and Crooks engine again the fittings are hex beads. Come in 3 different sizes I can use and cost $3.00 for 500 to 1,000 in a pack depending on size. I use the transparent ones because they are colored on the inside and not solid and look anodized already. I use gold ones on the injectors and manifold for brass fittings and of course red and blue. Sounds hokey I know compared to machined fittings but they work so far.

Dennis, no man in no way does that sound hokey. really man, I have a lathe and a milling machine and I'm ALWAYS up for something new and this is just AWESOME looking, and how you got them to look on the engine is even better......
any pictures of the beads that you were trying? I myself, found a way around the cost of the carburetor "return springs" 3 for like $4.00 or something stupid! AND looks just as good too!
I'll have to post up a few pictures at some point of the '70 Roadrunner I'm working on, it has a 440 with a 6 Barrel on it thats all detailed up and all the fittings and such I made with the lathe.....BUT aren't "squared" to look like bolts or any of that! Yours look awesome tho!

You might also want to look here www.rbmotion.com/ This is top of the line for fittings and many other things. What are you using for springs? I have been looking at the right side of blowers and carbs where the return springs go etc. so I can detail that better. BTW the fuel lines on the injectors on the Ford are bronze guitar string. A little stiff to work because of the wire inside the string. Surprisingly I can't pull the wire out of the bronze guitar strings but the silver ones the wire comes out easily and then the wire is very flexible and easy to use.

Hemi, I get the hex beads here Do a search for Transparent Hex Beads I use size 15, 10 and 11. Another thing, the fuel lines on the Stoned build and some oter cars I am going to put up are colored plastic tubing fly fisherman use to tie flies with. I love the stuff. $1.80 for three ft. The micro will fit through wire looms and for spark plug wire and is hollow tubing. The midge size is perfect for fuel lines. Two places to get it. www.jsflyfishing.com/hareline-hollow-tubing At American do a search for tubing. You want the Hareline brand.

CC, I love wire wheels and these don't show up in the pics as nice as they really are. They are Fujimi 3 piece wire and very nice.

Nice build. I love that engine. Was gonna ask about those wire wheels, but I see you mentioned them in the post before mine. Fujimi's.
