There was a time, when I was single, that I owned 11 cars at one time. Well times have changed and I'm down to two, plus one for the wife. She drives a Mazda Tribute. I have a 2004 BMW 330CI for a daily driver and track days. My fun driver and show car is a 1969 Intermeccanica Italia with a Boss 302, 5-speed, and 3.8 rear. I can't use it for track days because I refuse to install a roll bar. Yes. I do like red.

That Intermeccanica Italia ?? what may i ask is it, it looks Ferrari-ish, but with the Boss 302 ? is it a kit car as such of one of these low volume production kind of jobs. What ever it is mate, it looks great and i imagine it would be one hell of a ride when you put the foot down.

Intermeccanica has been building cars since 1959. From 1957 to 1976 they were located in Italy. From 1976-1982 they built cars in California. In 1982 they moved to Canada, where they still build cars.
Italias are like Italian Cobras. The Italia has a square tube frame and all steel body (mine has a fiberglass hood). They all came with a Mustang power train, radiator to rear end. I converted my 4-speed top loader to a Tremeck 3550 5-speed. The rear axles were converted to coil-overs and trailing arms. They have 4-wheel Girling disc brakes. They have usable trunks and weigh 2550lbs, over 500 less than a plastic Corvette. 500 were made and they carry plaques stating that they are exempt from all US federal safety and emission laws. Mine sat unused in a garage in California for 22 years, until I bought it in 1995. It only has 42,000 miles and is the only one in Wisconsin. I entered and drove it to Concourso Italiano, in Monterrey, CA, in 2000 and the Intermeccanica 50th anniversary reunion in Vancouver, Canada, in 2007.
