Found out Wednesday that my Hemi Dart made the cover of this years Scale Auto Contest Cars. I have been in the magazine about 4 times before, but i never thought in a million years I would get the cover. I am very proud of this accomplishment as it is very hard to do. On another note, these past two years have been pretty tough. I have had a lot of family and friends that have passed away. I had another aunt pass away last week. My cousin / best friend / big brother, is on life support and they are going to pull the plug monday or tuesday. That is why I have not been around here again. I really would like to be more active on this board, but lately life keeps kicking me in the teeth. Things have to get better soon and i will be back here much more often. PS My cousin that is on life support is the person who got me started on this great hobby of ours called modelling. Really hope to be on more often.  |

Being on the cover of the magazine is great news, bud!! I'm excited for you.
Sorry to hear about your cousin and your stressful year. Sometime life has a way of kicking us when we're down. I've learned to accept that things happen for a reason. I hope you cousin pulls through. In the meantime we are here to support you as friends. Prayers for you and your loved ones. Keep us informed if you can.

Congrats on the achievement, to be shown on a cover! Thats impressive to say the least! I'd like to know more on the magazine tho...... Maybe even if price is good, subscribe too!
As far as family, I pray your cousin pulls through....Nothing like a loss in the family, and that I know within the span of 6 weeks, I lost my Dad, my Uncle, and my Great Aunt all starting the second week of March this year.....The Uncle, we sort of knew it was gonna happen the Great Aunt lived a good long life, but the hardest, my Dad....Unexpected, and due to the same reasons I under went open heart surgery over a year ago..... Not to mention the same person that got me into "cars" real or models in the first place....
God Bless your whole family.. and you know, there is only one way now, UP, it has to get better.....
Tool you'll be in my prayers too! You and the family to be strong, no matter what!

thanks bro there is good news for the moment the doc came in and said there is brain activity but there is no way of telling how much

That's great getting your car on the cover. What an accomplishment! Beautiful model also, deserves to be on the cover.
It always gets better if you don't quit so hang in there buddy. Been through a lot of that myself. I will sincerely have you and your family in my prayers.
