Guys,
I've got this model and its a new kit, trouble is, I got to "looking" at the parts to it, I've got some pretty interesting thoughts and ideas so, questions suffice to that...
The engine, ANYONE, have any idea if "other 426 Hemi parts are available for this kit? Why? WELL, the intake for starters, its a "Rat Roaster" type, used for NASCAR use, NOT what I believe the General Lee's 426 Hemi would have had! The same sort of intake, sure, close to a Hi-RPM, type Mopar "Cross-Ram" would be nice, OR an inline 2x4 carburetor set up, where two 4-barrel Carter carburetors would be another nice addition to this engines looks!
Anyone know of a resin cast person/company that may make parts I can use for this, if not machine to fit this engine? I'm just not happy with what I see for this part of the engine!
OR, better yet, were there ANY other cars, this scale, that have different intakes? 440, or something with something other then the "Rat Roaster"?
IF nothing else, I'll be subject to sit and design an intake to fit the bill all from scrap plastic, I have, just looking at other possible options for the model....
