I personally think if have the body in "camp" ya should do the grill too, kinda look funny, all camped out, with a big shining chrome grill saying, "yep were coming at ya"

Here's some more. I tried something new with the exhaust, which I almost forgot so its not real pretty lol. First I sprayed it flat black and sorry the pic is blurry IMG_20140817_141501 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr Then I lightly misted it with Alclad 2 chrome IMG_20140817_141438 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr I think it gave it an almost galvanized appearance. I also built a nice big redneck rear bumper from some I beam styrene. IMG_20140817_132718_048 by ratrodfanbobcat, on Flickr And now its finished! I'll be posting the in the finished section shortly. Thanks for looking and all the great comments!

Jesse, What ya use to make the exhaust pipe with?
I too use Alclad II Chrome, by using flat black, did it make the "chrome" look more. Aluminum, lightly polished or did it turn out to look "Chrome" still? I guess, what I'm asking as I'm not sure I'm wording it right, but take a factory chrome, say bumper, and dullcoat it, and once that dries, is that what the flat black did to the exhaust pipe once the Alclad chrome was sprayed onto it?

Thanks halfbreed!
John, I used evergreen styrene tubing for the pipes. The alclad over the flat black has more of just an aluminum look to it. I didn't completely cover the black though, so it has more of the galvanized/aluminized pipe look to it.

Yeah I thought it would give that Aluminum look....Same thing on chrome plating, you dull cote it, and it looks like aluminum....Semi-polished.

Most excellent Jesse. Very clean build and love the details and fixes, like the bumpers, bed floor, tail gate, interior, etc.. Looking forward to seeing your finished pics.

-Jesse, Remember me asking on the "340" valve covers for a trade? WELL man, I got a mold made for the Mopar small block "LA" type motors now....I just have to locate a set of heads as well and make a mold of that too for the valve covers to go with.....
So, off we go to mold making world of the plastic addiction!
