Will purple power take off old decals? Trying to figure out the best way to remove them. Thanks for any help!

A LOT of times good ole "Masking Tape" the stuff that sticks really well to the surface that its applied too, will "rip" the decals right off a painted surface! Whether or not they have been "sealed" with gloss cote or the like.....
It, may take multiple times to remove them completely but it has worked for me in the past from a dumb mistake that I made way back in the early years of my life "taping" off something already painted, BUT need to touch up an area that didn't get covered well put on masking tape to protect the decals, from paint over spray, went to slowly pull off the tape and it took the decals with it!
