Ice, no....Not yet last night when I did that, it was a weird set up as I had gone and sat all the parts on the first table and being in the center and just kinda go-around, I guess is the best I can say, with that sheet of tempered glass on both tables I went and laid the parts from my engine box on the edge of either table, and then had to move the one to get out to get the camera.....Was a wild "quick" set up.....As I ran out places to sit things.....I'm now about 1/3rd the way through all the parts LOL with a sore couple of fingers from sanding to the finished edge....
Anyway there will be A LOT of other parts, I at that time was waiting for about 10 molds to cure to be used, THEY were tested, and put to use tonight, or well, 9 of them were one had to remain as it wasn't cure enough to pull, and use yet.
NOW the key to WHY all the parts? Locally my regular hobby shop that I visit for all sorts of things has offered shelf space and or peg board space to sell my parts in. AT NO COST! So, with that, I want 5 of EVERYTHING I make, to go, I have to make them, clean them, package them, and print out a label containing a bar code for the store, and really just show up with them, hang them, and off to selling they go! This same store, I used to do all sorts of train repairs for them, and they sold a lot of my molded train parts, Dave (the owner) is a great guy, really, and is always wanting to help and with this I think he'll get a bit higher business there as it really isn't out of the way, BUT being there a bit a few days I seen a lot of possible sales of my own! SO, its worth it to me to have a little locally for sale and do or have a bit of business that way and with that, he's gonna take in orders for requests, IF any to relay them tio me for other mold making inquiries sold through his store!
I'm pleased just to be given the sale space at no cost, never mind all the sales and work he's brought to me over the years! (I've been working through this one store for about 8 years before I closed for train business)....As I'm not doing repairs and or custom work that way any more, BUT I will continue to do the molding of detail parts and such.....WITH NO custom requests.....
Granted, I make a good shiny penny, other things will be taken into consideration, and this too will bring more business to him, and with that I make money at it, I'll be spending more too in his shop, and then even online for things I want to play with....So really its "batch" work, but will pay off!
Then to add to it, Dave had mentioned to me another local place carries a lot of details he can get at a bit higher price with cost of shipping and then to add to it, the other places that have any of it, are selling at prices he can't justify....SO this will give him a little "detail" to say he has to draw in a bit more people and even take orders on what the patrons may want and just flat out order it right then and there. To date, I can order just about anything and he has it in 3 days....

Ice, your right! That pic is upside down.... I'm tryin' to find the right pic! WTH....... I have to see what happened here, once you said that, I looked at them closely.... In my pictures when I sized them for uploading from photobucket, I hope I deleted the right one and not "edited" the pictures and deleted the one I was actually edited and moved onto another picture of the same one.....DAMN back to looking!
I have to see if ALL of them are the same! Took a couple different angles to see if it show "details" on the parts....

Well as time had passed, I got some funds up for another round of mold making..... SO, with that said, lets not hold back on the newest edditions to Johns molded parts stash! Mopar big block valve covers AFTER market, by Mickey Thompson "M/T"...THANKS Jesse for the master, yours will be ready to go shortly! This intake is for the 426 DOHC Hemi, single plane "LARGE" 4 barrel Holley Carburetor. This is a Mopar OEM part to the model, for this very odd motor. It would take the place of the dual blowers on my "Doomz Day" Dodge A100 Monster Truck, and came factory in the '70 Dodge Coronet Super Bee, From AMT-Ertl, AND I believe its in the Dirty Donny's '70 Super Bee, as well as the '70 Coronet Pro-Street models! Mopar old school Hemi-Head, fit ANYTHING from the 331 Hemi, to the 392 Hemi. Engine block I believe I have, BUT another one is to come! Mopar old school Hemi Valve Covers AFTER market, Mickey Thompson's "M/T's. These will fit ANY Ross Gibson "392" Hemi, and I believe any other old school Hemi as well! Mopar old school Hemi valve covers again, HOWEVER, these, are the Chrysler "FirePower" versions found on any old school Hemi from the 331 to the 392. A blower? To fit ANY Mopar, and for that matter, ANYTHING if you make it fit...ALL molded as one piece, where this detail was normally 4 parts! Mopar old school Hemi valve covers AGAIN, these however are the Desoto Hemi, these will fit anything from the 331 to the 392 Hemi's. These parts are with the "'Lil Coffin" kit we all know and have seen. I just had to mold 'em! Mopar big block AND Hem,i Deep Sump Oil Pan? You a race car builder? Build Mopars? This is the oil pan you need!

OHHH Forgot to mention, there are currently 10 more "molds" curing....EACH with multiple parts in them, so, there are MORE to come!
Gotto sit down and figure out what I have that needs to become a master copy, and do it, and then begin to make them as I'm running out of master copies for molding.. In other words, I'm SLACKIN! LOL I have to see what other parts I have that would be nice to have MORE of.......
EVERY pour I do, I pour 2 ounces of the silicone at a time, EACH of those pours do one LARGE mold, OR 5 small molds.....So, I do the best I can to fill that up with the limit of how many molds can be done in each 2 ounce mix of silicone......

OK a bit of work on the molded paerts. Guys, I have been messin with the camera TRYIN to get the damned details to show up on the parts, so upon my Daughters birthday this Monday, (the 19th) My Mother-in-Law is up from Florida as shes a "Snow Bird" lives here in the summer and lives there in Florida in the winter....So as she stays with us as their family is within 30 miles of our home, as she truly lives in Maine when shes "home" in New England but anyway, got to talking about her phone and then she pulls out her camera. WELL I got to playin a bit with tools.....SO damn camera I have to say! And I even did a bit to one as you'll see in a minute..... This: That picture -----^ is from her camera! I took a black sharpie to highlight the lettering to show the details I MOLD! THEN she let me have the camera of hers a bit, DAMN check this out.... I can't for the life of me, get my camera to get the lettering as seen here............ I want to trade my camera for hers, As she doesn't need a camera to get pics like that so...... LOL We'll see! As I'm able, more to come!

If I can keep it to a minimum, yes, BUT I'll venture out into other manufacturers if the want is there.....I have to keep things in check so that I'm not making parts that aren't gonna "move" trade, or otherwise....
PM sent!

looks good from here..................any max wedges in the future hemi ? Already done BUT the exhaust manifolds, I'm working on molding them, now.... (I had to find a set FIRST) to mold but I got a set so. but this mold attempt is a high strung one as there is a lot of compounds in this one so the mold making is gonna take a bit of planning and work to do! BUT, I got the block, heads, valve covers and Cross Ram already done for a Max-Wedge, WHICH one is the question? 413, 426? EDIT: The Mopar 413, and 426 Max-Wedge, had very slight variations between the 2 engines, and those details, would have to sought out to make the difference between the 2, BUT most if you don't know it, would never know by seeing the Max-Wedge decals on the valve covers and air cleaner, otherwise, they look VERY similar you have to know the spotting features between the 2 to know the difference.

I had a look to see if I could find pictures of that engine with the kit. IT looks like a 440, with a cross-ram intake....I say this as the heads and valve covers could pass as a 413, OR a 426 and even a 383. The cross-ram however was only used on the 413, and the 426 Wedge motors as well as the 426 Hemi (but was a different part) due to the intake rails that the air and fuel passed through into the heads. Notice -----^ They are a complete "set" of exhaust manifolds, a single left and a single right manifold for a Mopar 383 to the 440. MY real 383 has this same looking set! NOW the real detail the sets it different is the exhaust, it has what looks to be a Ram-Horn exhaust manifold only on the left hand side (when standing in front of the car its in) BUT the question is, is the other one IDENTICAL, OR is it made with the down pipe slightly offset forward to clear the starter? This being said, the offset down pipe exhaust manifold, depicts a 440. A matching one like that seen in the kit to the opposite side, COULD be a mere 413 Street Wedge! IF they would be TRUE "Ram Horn" exhaust manifolds The Street 413 Max-Wedge, manifolds look like this: Which, the SAME manifolds would bolt right onto the 426 Street Wedge too as a EARLY "Max-Wedge 426" NOW, to give you an idea here is the TRUE 426 Max-Wedge exhaust manifolds: THEE ONLY company I know to have EVER produced these in scale, is Jo-Hans, and they normally go for a good penny when found EVEN used ones! I have a set that was loaned to me to make a mold of these 2 parts! The following is a picture I found online of what the true Ram-Horn exhaust manifolds look like from Jo-Hans: Hope this clears this up a bit. they really were powerful but were some odd looking engines!
