Being a Hot Rod fan, T-Buckets are about at the top of the list of favorites. Having a few of the AMT kits laying around I decided to get back into the swing of things. Being alittle anal retentive when it comes to details, I wound up basically reworking the AMT Tub. Of course, after all that work and having a nice base, Old Dopey me thought it a good idea to cast copies of this for future projects. Here's the start- The interior was done this way to give me a good starting point to create new custom interiors. Here you see the end result of two days worth of work. Tomorrow it's into the molds!

Is that the copy already? Looks like a clean cast job.

I think that's the master there Ice, but if the resin copies look that good I'd sure buy a couple lol.

That's the Master Guys. I think I screwed up this afternoon. Wanted to give it a gloss coat of paint to help keep the air bubbles down during molding. Well, lacquer went on, waited a bit and it dried really dull so without thinking I sprayed on a coat of Krylon clear. Well, 3 hours later it's still sticky. Hopefully it'll dry!
I wasn't thinking about casting copies of this one for other folks but now that you mentioned it, might as well! Also have sectioned 29 and 32 Ford grills for it. Just have to finish sanding them. Pics of the castings and new interiors/grills will be coming-

Thank you Guys. I guess it's like riding a bike, you don't forget. Been making Masters for stuff since 1987-88 but those were mostly military and Figures.

Sure will and thank you for all the kind comments. I think I'm stuck here as the clear coat still isn't dry. So in the meantime, the two C-Cab kits arrived and I'll be bashing one with the AMT Ala-Cart.
