So with this Ebay Challenge Contest starting this month, I am assuming there will not be
a 50s or 70s decade contest ( to follow along with the 60s Decade). Is that correct ??

There will be, but not immediately. Gotta change it up to keep it interesting. But you never know. The mystery kit might be a 50s or 70s kit. Who knows. Maybe it won't.

So I understand, you send a kit to me I build it, when finished I send it back to you I pay for shipping to be auctioned off on ebay? I build the kit straight out of the box? no 3rd party accessories used like detail master, Model car garage etc.?
My most important question is what is the time frame to build the kit and return it to you??
Is the time frame to build and return "3. 8/1/14 through 10/31/14 - 3 full months" ??

I think you pretty much have it. You pay shipping for me to send it to you. You build any way you want. Does not have to be box stock. Add as many third party accessories as you want. The only thing is you have to use the plastic body. Chop if you want but can't replace the body. Everything else you can. When it's done you pay the shipping to send it back to me. I list them on eBay. All. Only from the auctions go to the forum fund. If your build were to get the highest bids on eBay, you'd win a prize package. And/or if your kits wins members choice, you get a kit as well.. Three months is the time frame. Want everyone to take their time. And not be rushed. Does that clear it up a bit more? |

Everyone thinking about this contest should look at the last ebay challenge and see how different all the cars were. We had work trucks and custom trucks and gasser trucks. This contests really lets you work to your strengths. because you get to build it how ever you want. I may build a gasser, Iceman a lowrider, Custommuscle may detail the heck out of the motor and make his a drag car someone else may chop the top and build a custom. Really what you are doing is trying to build the car that will be the most popular with the ebay buyers and get the biggest bids

Not so much Top Secret as just part of the contest. A little bit of mystery always makes things exciting. Nobody will know til they open the box they get. It'll be like Xmas in July.

The build off so far guys is awsome. Some have gone way out on a limb and took to their build with a big knife, some have gone straight into a brilliant paint job, this is going to
be one great contest, will be watching very closely as to how far people are prepared to go and push their own limits, which is a good thing to see.
KEEP IT UP GUYS, VERY IMPRESSIVE SO FAR.!! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon
