Ok just real quick dont want to waste modeling time!!
Everyone votes using different criteria. We have tried providing voting sheets but I dont think anyone uses them but me. Some vote for their friends, others it my be their favorite, some it may be the "wow" factor. I try to look everything over ( nit pick if you will ) and judge as I would for a real car show or any contest whether I was in it or not. I try my best to be fair, and yes there have been times I vote for a car other then mine. the real important thing is to vote.
If you scroll to the bottom of the home page you will see " Forum Information and Statistics " ( for today ) it shows that in the last 24 hours 39 members and 2 staff have visited the site, yet in the final round of Bracket Racing we have only 19 votes. We send out emails, we include links and now we even have a voting poll. the only way to make it easier is if myself and Iceman vote for you. If we have 4 contests going on vote in all four. We often will have 15 votes in one 14 votes in another and 12 votes in the last two, this tells me someone didnt vote in all four. We recently had two contests were you were asked to vote 12 and 3 times but by counting the votes we know that didnt happen in the decade contests there were 11 missing votes.
I know that some vote religiously and thats not who I am trying to reach here. I can see by the daily log many of our voters only stop by once a month and thats fine, others stop by but dont vote. It is so much more fun for the builders to see that 30 or 50 or 100 members voted then 20 see that for the six cars in the contest there were 12 votes and someone won by one or two votes. I just think that with the effort and talent that these guys put in to building these masterpieces ( and I feel JsCs has the best builders on the planet ) that all members should so them the love by voting especial when it shows that you were here and didnt.
Sorry, didnt mean to rammble , time for a nap ! Ha Ha !!
