Another classic, this has to be at least 20 years old. I remember I glue bombed the windshield, so not knowing what to do, I painted the windows black! This was back in the day before even heard of chrome foil, 1/24 wiring, flocking, etc. Was still a strict, factory kit builder. BUT somehow I have kept this all years with no tires falling off, hood stays propped up, etc. The stripes are starting to yellow, as are some of my other white cars - not sure what if anything can be done about this. But anyways, this was from the classic kit back in the early 90's. The last picture I include just because it looks like an evil Big Mac!!! running-around-smiley-emoticon

I like these Vipers, but i usually use them for donor parts, ( V10 goes great into everything). Nice work, especially considering how long ago you built it. If you ever want to fix the windows, 1000 grit, then 2000 grit wet/dry, then a very mild auto polish will bring them up like new mate. I have had to fix a few gluey windows over the years, i tend to rebuild a few of my old builds when the money is short.

Thanks for the gluey window tip deecee - I have a 1/12 57 Chevy I snagged at a flea market for 20 bucks that was started as a glue bomb! I will for sure try this out on this kit, would love to "Save" it. smileyCACETROO_zps365bb43e And same to you custom muscle, for the thought of throwing this V10 in other rides, GR8 IDEA!! egyptian

Nice build for that for long ago. I have another trick to save all clear. If you have a dremal or a drill for that matter. I have the polishing disc that came with the kit. Went to hardware and got polishing rosin. Get the drill spinning up and polish the scratchs out after you sand it. Quicker to do!! I save alot of ebay builds.
