Amt 1955 stepside chevy

Its a nice kit gonna try and make a wood bed for it also as i dont like the plastic one that came with the kit

this is a fun kit to build. i'v done 4 of 'em and looking forward to more of yours

The wood bed will look good. I am building many differnt Dodge pickups now. Several are stepsides and I have started plans to cut out the plastic immitation wood and install strips of real wood. I am looking around to find something that will work. I dont think balsa wood will lend the results I want. Since my trucks are Little Red Express trucks I also want to make the outside wood on the bed real too. If you happen to find something that works please let me know. I will do the same on my end.

So a little update i decided to cut up the flatbed and found some drink stirrers from work that looked like they would work

The bed is done and in the color is looking good clear on and i painted my shop name on the doors let me know what you think
