I was referred here by Iceman, (don't think I spelled that right - but hey - what can I say!) The site looks great! I think I will love it here, hope to get and give tips to make future builds more awesome than ever!
I have been buying kits from Iceman on eBay the last couple years, super guy and great seller! I actually have one kit on the way, and will be trying to get some more this weekend! I have always loved building models, kind of got away from it about 15 years ago, (drove a truck), but the last 7 years I have been afforded the opportunity to once again get back to the hobby I love. I think my skills have improved somewhat the last couple years, and am about to take a big leap and get serious for once.
I mean, I am pushing 50 anyways, kids are out, dogs are out, and I now have a bedroom all to my self, full of cars just screaming to built! open-mouth-smiley-emoticon
I will figure out how to post some pics I took tonight, just a couple cars that I grabbed, no particular order. But from the looks of some of the pics I have seen here, (hint, hint - Iceman - love the whole driveway idea!) I will definitely have to get thinking how to make my cars look good. I try to visit a local boys shelter when I can, dragging some kits and paints and glue along to try and get them interested in building, god knows they need a hobby! Taking pictures is also a GREAT idea I will take to the shelter, maybe taking pictures of their builds will keep some of the kids interested in model building for years to come.
Anyways, hope you get to check out my cars, and I will be adding many more soon - LETS KEEP THIS GREAT HOBBY GOING EVERYONE!! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon
