It's looking good Paul. I have to this this yet to build a gasser other than the Willys. This is inspiring me to do so.

yea this looks mean ! Someone needs to build something to challenge this ! Remember one car does not make a contest! A single entry will be winner by default his picture will go in the header and on face book , it will make him eligible for the year end MOTY but sadly there will be no prize.

Hmmmmmmm Ole School Gasser ..
Could someone elaborate on definition of Old School ( Gasser ). Stance -- Body -- Engine just general requisites to be a Gasser... Thanks Tom thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon

it comes from drag racing and it was the first of many altered cars to increase speed. The front end was drastically raised by using a straight axle front end, to put as much force onto the rear for traction, so as the motors became more powerful ( alcohol ) the tires could get traction. Later they started moving the front ends out putting the tires right behind the bumpers and moving the rear tires in right behind the doors . These are often called AWB Altered Wheel Base cars. Next came the first real funnycars with steel factory bodies on all tube frames , then the bodies went fiberglass and shazam all the way up to todays funnycars
