Hey everybody, real quick just a couple of things. I would like to welcome back long time friend and member Tool who has been down for the count for awhile but has made a great return and is back doing what he does best and thats turning out some really trick cars. Welcome back buddy !
Next we have a couple of down members right now and if you know them maybe email or message them some words of encouragement. Spacecowboy has been unable to build for awhile now and I know hes pretty bummed out so send him a get well at brubacnicbac@yahoo.com or message him here. The other is our very own Wheaton79chris he took a nasty spill and crushed his wrist and broke his hand. He has had three surgeries and as he put it more metal then a ol Buick grill put in his wrist. So let them know we miss them and we are thinking of them.

I am a newer guy and only had a couple of words with Wheaton79chris but anytime I hear about people on a site I frequent being down for health and injuries I hope for getting better and speedy returns for them. So if you are reading this guys get back to ramming speed as soon as you can and put the bad behind you. I hope all three of you are doing better soon. Take care!!

Hey guys I'm still alive but won't be building for a while. I missed a step and then missed the rest except for my right hand . Like grandpabeast said I've got a ton of steel and braces. One I'm bot gonna finish in time is my decades charger daytona. But ( in my best Arnold voice ) I'll be back. I will watch what the rest of you turn out till then.

Really hate to hear about members of J C 's that are sidelined by illness or injury  With that said welcome back Tool glad to hear your better , missed your great builds . SC hope you get better soon and looking forward to seeing you excellent builds again . Chris Hope you heal soon and can't wait for your building again , miss those race cars . |

Reading this makes me think of my upcoming surgery. A little history....I have been a type 1 diabetic for 30 years, and finally my kidneys are starting to shut down. I am on the pancreas/kidney transplant list and hopefully this summer I will get the operation I need. Lots of down time. 14 days in the hospital after the surgery and then another month living in another town (so I can be close to the hospital and they can adjust my meds. Anti rejectory meds so my body doesnt kill the new organs).
Not looking for any sympathy here, just saying. I should be able to at least model (im hoping anyways). I know Im gonna go bat $h!t crazy that last month though (im not a good patient under the best circumstances).
I have a good woman beside me (she doesnt mind the mess I make with my modeling) and the full support of my family.
to all that have been out, best of luck, and if you could say a prayer (or at least a kind word) for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mark

Bloodbane bro I'm a diabetic also. It's the LONGER healing time that's the worst. I'm not supposed to be building but the doctors would have to keep me sedated. I just can't fight the urge so back to my desk I go. Best of luck to all my styrene brothers. And welcome back tool also
