Well it has come to an end.. Impala is ready to cruise.. Paint is House of Kolors Pearl white over a silver metallic, with durado dreams overspray. Panel lines are pavo purple, purple mist, lavender, white, and silver stripping. This car was all lacquar even clear coat, then wet sanded and polished. Interior is done in white, tan, purple. seats purple piping. Dash, headliner, back deck, floor mats done in purple velour. Engine. wired and plummed with aluminum distributor, aluminum bell air cleaners, rubber rad. hoses with sleeve clamps, throttle linkage and spring and more. (Scratch made.) Undercarriage. Alcad II chrome frame, Brass tank and mufflers, aluminum exhaust tips, fuel line, air bag suspension, cragar wheels with spinners and white walls.. Was a fun build, but I'm glad this one has the big done stamp on it.. prayer-hands-smiley-emoticon

great build !! not too much into the low riders, but am totally into cars and can appreciate all the work that went into this build. awesome paint, especially the layout. some of those can get real busy, nice work. I really like the cragars instead of the wire rims also. you must have spent days masking that frame off.
nice work.

Thanks Ice, tubbs, skip, 70 challenger, and Tom. The frame was done in a day, I agree. I like the cragars better than wires on this one..

I keep coming back to the pictures and always see something else. just a super build.
a little side note to all, I mentioned earlier I am not too much into these low riders, as well as nascar, military stuff or rat rods (God help me on those). usually pass them right up at 1:1 shows, but here, I look at all the builds (try to at least)sure you see the subject matter first, but really take a look at the builds and the time and labor that went into a build. some really talented people here, sorry junkman for using your thread as a platform. just like to remind people to look at all the stuff, you may be missing a really super build.
