I know what you're thinking - I'm talking model stripper. I purchased something years ago called Undek-It. It was from Rohan Locomotive works in Houston Texas. It was the best thing for stripping paint from plastic. Can't find it anywhere and can't track down Rohan. Anyone know what I'm talking about ?

I think there is a tutorial in the help section all about strippers and what we all use and what works best. I personally use two. 1. I got off e bay called Blue Magic it is listed as a paint stripper and works great 2. can be bought at the Dollar Store and its called LA's Awesome Cleaner listed as a cleans anything and everything! Use at full strength and strips in hours ! I also use a Tupperware bread box with seal able lid its just a little bigger then the average 1/24 body , I installed a nipple to the lower side of the wall and to the center of the lid , by using a small electric fuel pump which also adds heat to the stripper, it sprays down on top of the body basically washing as you strip.

Should be a number of videos on You Tube yet on using paint strippers. Must be many that work as there are many favorites of builders. Other builders here or on the other vehicle model sites (Drastic Plastics, Scale Auto Enthusiast, skid's Place, etc.)will have info.

I use brake fluid that i keep in a plastic tupperware thingy. You CANT use it on any resin parts ,or they will turn to globs of slime. I keep a toothbrush in there,so i can clean my teeth, naw scrub in the cracks and tight spots.usually clean in a night depending on how long the paint has gassed. Then just rinse off with water and soap!

I use purple power you can pick it up at any part's store. I just soak it over night in it and use a small brush with soapy water cleans up really nicely.
