This is the DeLorean time machine from the 1989 American science fiction comedy film and the second installment of the Back to the Future trilogy. It was directed by Robert Zemeckis, who directed all three films, and stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Thomas F. Wilson and Lea Thompson. The kit I used is the Polar Lights Snapit issue. It comes with a nice stainless steel finish already applied to the body. For a snap kit I was kind of impressed by some of the detail it has that can be accented with some time invested just detail painting. Now to roll film, err... well..., at least a few pics. Thanks a bunch guys. I never really had much respect for snap kits and started wondering if I could change my opinion of them by doing this one like I did. I am really happy with how it turned out, and have changed my mind about how I thought of them.
