Looking forward to being connected to others here that are into building models too. I started building when I was 8, but haven't really built anything in the past 15 or so years.
Don't have any survivors of what I built in the past, but I am bitten with the fever to get back into it.
I like building just about anything, armor, sci-fi, monsters, ships, aircraft, but mostly 1:25-1:24 cars and trucks. Wanting to build some dioramas or a large ever changing 1:25-1:24 layout.
My day job for the past 30 or so years is working on 1:1 cars. I work for a Corvette shop doing NCRS restorations and building resto-mod/pro-touring Vettes. I also have a couple 1:1 projects of my own.
I like seeing what others have built and hope to show the same soon.

Welcome Skip look around, post some stuff and enjoy. We have some contests with prizes and there is a members rides section for 1 to 1 cars as well as a section where we post pics from car shows and such

Skip that was my nickname for years, then something happened to me that caused me to be usng my real name and just never got back to Skip. But it's a kewl name. Glad to have you here hope to see some of your builds. Welcome

Yeh, I was tagged with the nickname Skip by my grandmother before they brought me home all shiny and new from the hospital. Hardly never get called by my real name and Skip is better than some of the others I get called from time time. After 49 years I'll keep it. |
