A little back story first. When my wife and I got married we had already started trying to have a baby. Well it took us two years to conceive him and he even came six weeks early. So after a little over two weeks he was released from the NICU and we brought him home. He turned two years old on Valentine's day. Well last night my wife took an at home pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE! She has a doctors appointment monday, but so far it looks like we'll be adding another to our family and I'm super excited. This will be our second child but my wife has a son from a previous relationship, his name is Chaz and he's 7. Thanks for ready through all my ramblings, I was just excited and wanted to share with my friends here! |

Thanks guys, I'm really excited but is it bad I'm hoping for another boy? Lol. I don't think I could survive through raising a girl, but will be happy either way. All that matters is they come out healthy, not much else you can ask for.

Thanks Chris, thanks Skip, they grow up way to fast. My son is two and it seems like it was yesterday my wife some me up at 3 am saying her water broke lol.

Funniest one, my oldests mother woke me up to start a new job and said good luck. She was holding her stomach funny and I asked her what was wrong she said "my water broke a few minutes ago" . I told her get her a%& in the car and she tried to argue that I'd lose the job. I told her I wasn't missing the birth of my child. That little princess will be ten in August

Thanks Paul! Chris that's a good story lol. My wife thought she had wet the bed, she woke me up we changed the sheets got cleaned up and it happened again an hour later lol. We figured we better head to the hospital. It was one crazy morning to say the least. Thanks for all the congrats guys, I can't wait to find out what we're having, that's a ways off yet.

fatherhood is the most trying and joyous things i've ever done! my boys are 17 and 18 and i sure do miss when they were little guys and needed dad more. but they are happy healthy young men and that is joyous as well most important thing is to soak up ALL that affection and lovin from them now because it will taper off as they grow and you WILL miss and yearn for it. |

Little update, well a big one I guess lol. Tomorrow morning we have to be at the hospital at 5am and the C-section is scheduled for 7am. Tomorrow our little girl and final addition to the family joins us!
