So cool! That's a hard choice on which way to go on this one. I would be trying to decide between low rider or gasser.

Well you have the option of building it stick or dropped with that donor. A custom would look great. I have resin kit and researched some idea. The look awesome either way. I'm sure you're going to make it look great.

Cool. I've got a built original '60 AMT Craftsman kit that I got off ebay and I need to restore it one of these days.

Cool, a 6 banger. Plenty power for the lowrider.

Yep I think the 6cyl. is under rated motor as I've had many cars and trucks with them and even roundy round raced some I beat many a V-8 to the finish line that was always a great feeling smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f

Liking that 6 with the dual carbs. I agree, the 6 cylinder gets under estimated. My favorites have been the Chevy straight six and the Dodge 225 slant six.

Well it seems every one is way ahead of me on this build so I guess I'd better catch up . Had some family matters come up but all done with that so back to it . Cut out hood ( that's a little tricky compared to plastic ) but got it done . Next started fitting chassis to body , first problem floor hangs to low so had to remove some material from rear inner fenders and top of front inner fenders (colored area to be removed ) Next set back is I didn't like the resin interior looks bad so going scratch one except will use the rear section I cut off rest will come from spare parts , will have more later . Thanks

Can't wait to see what you do with the interior. There's always extra challenges with resin bodies but I think you know what you're doing here.
