Well guys, Here’s my entry for this challenge:   Thinking of doing a pro touring style car with the wheels shown and modern brakes /suspension but I also wouldn’t mind doing it stock… What do you think? Anyhoo, good luck to everyone and happy building.  Cheers, Josh. |

Even though I'm an old school traditionalist, I'm going to break with everyone else and go with the touring option with the disc brakes and modern wheels! Either way you go with this build, you can't go wrong with its graceful styling!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've decided to go the Pro Touring style so I've already started to do bits and pieces to get the chassis etc ready. Will hopefully get some pics up in the next couple of days. Josh. |

Excellent choice for a build, and I have to say I think doing it pro touring is a great idea. Can't wait to see it.

Hi guys, Sorry I haven’t updated. Been pumped at work lately. Anyhoo, here’s the progress so far… Narrowed the chassis at the rear to allow clearance for the new wheels:    Cut some of the interior out to make room for a set of minitubs that are in the make:    The brakes that will be used. They’re off a Super GT Nissan GT-R:   Mock-up of the ride height. Still have to lower the rear a little:    Going for a tube frame front end that and no inner guards. Only issue I’m having is getting the wheels with the a-arms attached to fit in the guards. Well, I’ve got three days off now so hopefully get some more done. Let me know what you think.
