I'm Bob & I'm a modelholic you will be seeing pics of my WIPs as I have yet to really decide on the colors anyway Hey Y'all!
My username says a lot I'm working on a large diorama with the theme of my life where I recognize people by their cars which is what I do anyway along with builds based on real cars & trucks that I have built for myself & others Some my visions & dreams The buildings will be built using American Plastic Bricks like the ones I had as a kid so far I have built a L shaped table that's 12' on the long end & 8' on the short & with my addiction running rampant it looks as though I'll be adding another 12' making a U shape

Seen your posts already of the trucks you're building. Very cool.
Your diorama sounds interesting too, kind of like the one I would like to do using a whole room that is above my shop. Would really like to see what you are doing with yours.

Thanks Guys! right now it's just the table I want to build a wall for background scene & have it finished before going any further so far it does nothing but grow bigger the more I think

Welcome Bob , this site is full of very nice builders that help offer advise and build some pretty nice cars. Make sure you look around and check out our contests and look at the Mall ! Last time in KC to watch Royals vs Angels ( my best friend is the pitching coach for Angels ) ate at two great plases. Stroudes ( Home of pan fried chicken ) and the Smokestack were I had what they called burntends !

Stroudes is the fried chicken place Burntends at the Stack are good but you need to check out Arthur Bryant's That's the BBQ Presidents & such eat
I appreciate the welcome I figure that I'll stay here for a while there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of post to get attention posts or post wars between members here & that has been some of the reasons I waited so long to join any modeling forums It wasn't until a member of a 1:1 car forum called my FireTruck a glue bomb that I decided to join different ones & get opinions on it & other builds I posted links to all the replies where I knew he could read them so now he basically says that I copy my builds from others Especially my L700 builds I've been building the L700 on AMT frames since 1973-4
Anyhow you guys are stuck with me cause I likes it here

Thanks, I really like it here & I'm glad y'all enjoy what I lean back in my chair think of & build A lot of my builds are rebuilds kinda as most of them perished in a fire 10 years ago that claimed over 3,000 cars & trucks total that spanned a 32 year build/collection. In that 32 years there were times when there was almost to no building but there was intense buying (about 1988-2002) My builds in this period were mostly cars & trucks I built or teamed with others to build along with the cars my best friend (whom I call my brother) frame off restored & custom GTO's, Tri Fives with exotics thrown in When we took a year off from drag racing & went asphalt circle burning, I built our whole Pure Stock division in scale

Everyone builds a glue bomb the thing about my FireTruck is that I can build that Glue Bomb 1:1 if I choose to A lot of my builds are builds that covered a 32 year span & perished in a fire 10 years ago The FireTruck even missing some parts was a kit that I wouldn't trash but figured that I'd repurpose
in doing so I reused another model One that escaped a fire

Thanks Chris. I like the topics & the cars shows & such Makes me want to get off my butt & paint & finish the 28 that I have in various stages of completion some only needing exterior & interior colors decided
