Let the work begin! Started by stripping the paint off of the door panels. Cleaned, scribed and primed. Final stage of primer. Next came the interior/chassis pan. It sat for a full 24 hours in Easy Off to get to this. There was a thick layer of white followed by a thick layer of black. 24 more hours brought me to this. Decided to scrap the stock seats for these. I'm trying to mimic the Red Recaro seats that come in Japanese Type R's. Little mock-up Everything primed and ready for paint.

Looking good bud. Can't wait to see what you do to it.

Got some more work done. Gauges. New engine from another kit. Made a custom intake as well. More AEM style.

Last update for a while... I will be cracking down on a couple of my other projects to get them off of my bench. Interior done.

Very clean dash. Will the backseats be red as well?

Thanks!
The back seats will stay black. I'm replicating one of the factory color options for the real Type R.
