I'm Robert, a retired Marine "Leather-Head" who has car oil in the genes past down from my dad and now to my grand kids. The reason I enjoy building model cars is because I don't have a garage or deep pockets like Jay Leno. At one time I had a huge collection but I have downsized now. I still enjoy building but finding the time is the hard part. I'm no pro, just some car-nut that comes up with ideas then try to put it together. I buy, sell and build my models off of eBay. There are some really nice builds that I've dropped down cash for and not so nice builds that I'm ashamed to display that I end up reselling. I'm a guy who likes to see exhausts, drive shafts, radiator hoses, etc. connecting. It lets me know that someone really took the time to build and make look real and not a glue bomb just thrown together. Right now, I'm working on 6 models; A '64 Dodge Pro Street, two 4x4 vans, Jeep pickup, '60 Ford pickup 4x4, and a low-rider Monte Carlo.

Hey Robert. Glad to see you made it. 6 kits in the works huh? Not too bad. When you have some time post some of those pics in the under construction section. A thread for each in the right folder should work.

I think everyone on here is a car nut to some degree, and plastic addicts too.
