Hey guys, I was looking around stores in my area for a store that might sell Future floor wax, then I found out that they changed the name to "Pledge Future floor polish" and I couldn't find it anywhere. So I found out who made this product. SC Johnson. emailed them and now it's goes by the name Pledge Floor Care Multi-Surface Finish. Just incase some of your were looking for it. Then I found that my local Canadian Tire sold the product for 6.99 per container, went to check out and on the receipt it said "Future Polish" lol Here is what the container looks like now!  |

ya got some because I read it in another sit. it took the paint off. Never ever use it if you use
createx water based paint. I cant use acrylic paint in the house so I spray with createx wicked Just a warning

Future has worked great for me! Don't usually use it on body because the area is too big and afraid to mess up paint jobs,but for dashes, engine pieces and most small parts, if I want a shine on it I dip it in Future.

I've used it several time without any issues. Usually over "regular" spray paints such as Duplicolor and Krylon.

I tried some over some enamel and it just got a bunch of cracks all over lol. I've sprayed it over createx acrylics and it worked great. I wonder if your paint wasn't fully cured out?

I've read its GREAT on tires to add decals OR to paint over itto add white letters on tires with paintthat won't attach the vinyl! I have yet to try it tho.....

-I can not for the life of me find this stuff ANYWHERE local to me, I've went to ALL the local hardware stores in the floor care section, Ace, True Value, you name it, Aubuchon Hardware, Then off to K-Mart, Wally-World, Home Depot, Lowes, no where has it......All kinds of otherstuff, but noother with "With Future Shine" on it......
ANYONE that can get it, whats the cost? I'd have you buy it and I'd pay you cost and shipping to me LOL

John this is the old and newer bottles, both bought at WallyWorld. Ask for Pledge Floor Care. Future is no longer on the bottle. The newest bottle is posted by James and in the following link. Pledge with Future  |

You could just pick up some acrylic clear coat, that's all future is except future has a nasty lemony smell lol. I've never had that good of luck with future. It always seems to get little fisher cracks when dried. |

Hmmmmm I'll give the Acrylic clear coat and see what happens....As I do not want it for clear coat, I want it for a vinyl protectant more then a "clear coat" so.....
I didn't know of the cons to the Future, as far as the small cracks it gets so I may NOT use it it at all....just because of that little statement!
