Hello everyone, my name is Stefano, I live in Boves (near Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy) and have recently taken up building model cars again. I am 42, and work as a doctor in our local hospital. I am married and have a 6 year old daughter. At present, I am working on an Arii 1992 Zr1 Vette which, hopefully, will request no more than 2 weeks to be finished. On my working table, are a Lambo 5000 Countach S (Fujimi) and a Nissan 300 zx - 1986 - always by fujimi. Hear from you soon, I will post a selfie as soon as possible (not at present because I am wearing a pyjamas that's not worth sharing with other people). Thanks and bye !
Stefano (barbasteu71)

Ok, here is the finished interior of the Zr1. I added charcoal flocking , custom painted the gear lever and added photoetched pedals. Sorry for the low quality of the photo (I had until some days ago a wonderful Samsung Galaxy S3 but it fell and the screen broke )

Welcome, I do some of my best building in my PJs ! Ha Ha !! Well i hope you enjoy the site, there is a lot of things to see and do. The members here are always very helpful. What kind of kits can you buy in Italy ? is there anything we can get for you here and send that maybe you cant get there or it is pricey. Just ask !

Well, in Italy you can easily buy Fujimi, Revell (Europe) or Tamiya, sometimes you can find some old Protar or ESCI kits (and if you find some, that's good business I think). Recently I have seen some Simil R kits that are made in France(mainly new Ford GT 40 in different racing versions). For what concerns AMT/ERTL or Monogram things are difficult, especially for the former. Luckily I am doing good business on ebay at present, I have bought maybe 5-6 kits in the last two months at a medium price of 28-30 $ each (last time I got for 16 €, that should be about 21 $, a 2004 GTO by AMT).
