My revell '49 mercury arrived yesterday. I'm gonna need a lot of advice throughout this build - so be prepared for stupid questions. The Idea is slammed, Primer, rust. inspiration     Here it is mocked up with my chosen wheels, I am not sure on tyres yet but we will see. (sorry it is out of focus  )    I am thinking of putting weld lines on the chop top and doing a primer over rust paintjob but a mint engine bay, frame, floor pan, etc. tatty interior Jack |

Looks awesome
the only thing i would change is i would go to a wide white wall tire and some chrome reverse wheels
but thats just me

I like the mockup, but agree it'd look better in my opinion with some steelies or chrome reverse wheels and maybe wide whites. Its your build though and you build it his you want and envision it. I'll be following along.
