I have been looking at the Academy model of the M1A1 to build for my son who is in the Marines Corp. He is not a tanker, he is a scout sniper, and the Academy kit can be built in the USMC version and has "War Pig" written on the barrel. Snipers are referred to as a PIG or a HOG, depending on their level of training they have acquired. I want to build it with a large scope on the barrel and tell him that 50 cal rifle he uses ain't no big deal.
I just thought it would be something with a bit of humor to build.

Not defending alcohol, but I have done some really stupid stuff while sober too.
