It did go together well, but the trick is that I paint my car bodies in my unheated garage so when it's too cold I can't paint them. This one was actually painted this past Oct. I've had it mocked up on my bench since then! I'm pretty sure you can see it in the back ground in some of my secret Santa WIP pictures. All I really had to do this month was the interior, finish up the engine and chassis then do the final assembly and decals. I also have my truck build for next month over half finished, biggest hold up on it is right now is paint.

Looks like AK is first to the qualifying line up. Black widow has Pit stall #1... Looks great AK.. But I have a bone to pick with you. you are taking pictures of a sunny day and grass in the background.. Do you like torturing the United States Alaskians...

hahahahahaha! It's amazing what a little green paint sprayed on dead grass will do! that's not funny! i've actually had to do that before when i was stationed in Germany. VP Quayle was comin to the base and the grass along the parade route had to be green 3guys,4cases O.D. green paint and an 8hr day...surely that money and time could have been better spent

Another fine build by AK. Very nice Alan, I like this. The crackle inserts in the interior and the fuelie engine. Skippy likes.

Thanks Skip! this kit was a pure joy to build! Originally I was going to use white rims and not put any numbers on it, but then I saw those dry transfer Black widow grafics for a pine derby car and had to havethem!

I like the conservative side trim that was all but forgotten until this kit came out. Good clean work and nice 2-tone body, thanx.
