hey guys my name is Marcel 25 from Connecticut and I collect 1:24 scale import models along with exotics.I am a particular Honda/acura fan. my personal car is a 99 Honda Civic SI that I converted to turbo. I loooveee turbos. now I know a lot of you old timers are thinking honda/acura you guys don't like those small four cylinder engines but I look at it as I'm doing the same thing you guys did 30 years ago with your old muscle cars. due to some recent car problems my love for imports has translated over to scale modeling. for about a year now I have been collecting import an exotic models I have currently about 200 different model kits.some quite rare infact. (Fujimi spoon civic). I also collect diecast cars along with big scale model kits example 1:12 scale and 1/16 scale. Currently im building 3 cars. Civic hatchback custom, Nissan 350z and ferrari f40.
the reasons I joined this forum was to connect with my other fellow model makers and to learn some of the experience you guys have along with sharing whatever knowledge I may have a certain topic. I'm also just looking for a place to just have general discussions about scale models as a lot of you may know family and friends arent too concerned with the hobby. they look at it as just a toy but I think each one of us all know that it's more than a toy. its a hobby it's a it's a passion. Its something we like to express and share with each other. IP read any of you to reach out to me for any questions you may have and I look forward to being a good member.
