I guess this will fit here nicely.........did not see a thread for ole timers, Foriegn, F-1 or any such, so I stuck it right here. Please feel free to move where ever you might want to put it. I don't believe in wast'in time, so here goes.......my 1st thread here is a Pocher 1/8th scale 1907 Fiat that depicts the winning car f/the 1907 French GP. It is late and I just wanted to get the thread started, will post some build photos of this project tomarrow. So for now too all a good nite.......... Rick  |

Well as I promised some photos of my current project......... smileyCACETROO_zps365bb43e I purchased this kit off of eBay, thats pretty much the only place you can find them today. The prices just keep climbing and I see a time coming that I no longer will be able to afford. But I do have a few stashed away for future builds. This was the 1st Pocher kit I ever built back in tha day, way back in the day. I believe this hit the Hobby Shops back in 62'. This will be I believe my 3rd time building this kit. I am one of those fellas that just can not build as it comes in the box, and thats not bad.....but can and does result in kit burn out! What I am shoot'n for this time is to build as the designers made the kit for.....OOB and detail with paint, though I believe they also never intended for you to paint the kit either, molded in the color for the part. Of course I will add some visual items and correct a few areas, but other than that.......so lets getter done.   Rick |

I like it. I know what you mean about you building the engine first. I personally usually paint the body first but am learning to do that last in case a mod pops into my head.

Still working on engine, some more small details and ready for paint.......I also found a complete 4 sep purchases to get everything on eBay of a FIAT engine for a outside display of the motor w/completed car. But have not made up my mind if I want to spend that mush f/this extra touch to the build! Rick |

So, no 2nd motor to display outside of the kit..............oh well, it was a thought. Rick |

Just a foot note, I have put this down for a spell, weather has been crappy and not able to paint. I use a airbrush for most of my painting and I have also been working on another project. So keep watching, will post photos soon on the FIAT build. Rick |
