Hi, I have just started this 49 ford, here are some shots of the way I want it to sit, I will be lowering the rear down and setting the front to the lower pre setting of the chassis, I will be painting it red candy over a silver basecoat with a white interior. Iam going to change the engine to a revell parts pak one, also using parts box wheels
I Will be using the custom parts rear panel which needs a little filling as you can see and I will be using the stock front end. I will be bare metal foiling the side trims and window trims(fingers crossed on that).

Update on the 49, have got the body in primer ready for its basecoat of silver, have been working on the interior and engine, hoping that the weather here gets better soon to be able to paint the body. Here are a few shots of the interior and the engine so far.   engine picture  body picture  |

Update: Weather been nice here have got the paint on its Createx candy Apple red over a silver basecoat, its had 5 coats of clearcoat, now leave it for a week or so to fully cure then polish. Have also been doing a bit on the chassis rear axle in and wheels fitted. Here are the pictures:   outside shots after clearcoat:   thanks for looking Islandrods |

UPDATE: I have now polished the paintwork and finished the Bare Metal Foiling of the window trims and side trim( first ever useage of BMF)here are some outside shots of where i'am at so far.    Next jobs to start will be headlining,fitting of outside trim ie bumpers etc. Thanks for looking Islandrods (Graham) |
