It's been a long time since I built any models....probably 50 years? I started racing Pinewood Derby Cars when my Grand. Daughter asked me to build her one. I liked the hobby and have been league racing for the last 4 years. In the current league I race at they have a class called Door Slammers. You must use a 1/25 scale model for the body. The frame is whatever you can come up with. This class is a lot of fun and it combines both hobbies very well. The league I race in is in Ohio. You can find it at WWW.APR.boards.net I'm pretty sure that is the link? Check out the forum. You will have to register to view the videos, but it's pretty painless.  |
