Chris don,t know if I'm to late or not but this is how I did my Nascar kits with that heat shield was just drill two holes in each shield big enough for two plug wires to go through that way you don't have to worry about them touching the header tubes , just an idea here's a pic of how that looks

I like seeing the wires routed that way. Not sure how the 1:1 cars have them routed, but it looks great the way you decided to do them!
