I have a few questions regarding painting plastic, never been very good at it. I want to strip the paint off of a body and start fresh. I found in the past that brake fluid does a pretty good job of getting the paint off, then would I just have to wash the parts off and spray it again or is there any other prep work involved? Also, I have a tank engine I want to build and possibly install in a car (hey, I can't do it in real life so why not plastic?) the problem is the engine came in chrome. I would like to at least paint the block. Can I just paint over that or strip the chrome first?

I use easy to strip as well as to take chrome off parts. Check out my progress thread for the resin 33 ford In the Resin Mayhem folder. I have pics in it where I dechromed an Revell parts pack engine before painting it. Hope that helps.
