So i have a few older kits that I'm going to cast. Since I'm just starting I'd like to cast what you guys would be interested in. I know not everyone likes resin, but for those of you that would be willing to give it a shot, I'd like your help. This poll will give me an idea of what the demand is at least here at Jerry's Cherry's. I'm starting off with one body but will soon start on more. I know prices might sway decisions, but just like the items I sell in my store these will be offered a lower prices than the competition. smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f And if you're not interested you also don't have to vote. Thanks. Here are the bodies I will be prepping. Please choose the three you'd mostly be interested in. 1949 Willys Sedan Delivery 1950 Chevy Bel Air 1948 Plymouth 1961 Impala-vettes 1955 Chevy 210 Handyman wagon 1949/50 Mercury woody wagon & Mod Squad Service Station set Wheels and hubcaps - putting together some set but willing to take special orders if you want something duplicated or I can try to find them myself.

Ice: I picked "other" 'cause I've seen 1/25 scale pro mod kits on Ted's model site like a slicked down '69 Camaro, a Willys coupe with extended rear which makes a built-in 'chute holder and wing, etc. I know that doesn't fit to a large community of builders here, but that's my thing. Thanks!

Ok time for me to be Debbie downer for a minute. if I were doing this, my goal would be to fill a void where no kit /or part existed. Dont build the kits as other guys and dont build something ( 55 handyman wagon ) that could easily be built by modifying an existing kit ( 55 Nomad ). i would go for things that are hard to find whether that be individual parts like turbos or gasser parts or kits like the Whillys above. I am sure we all have stuff that we dont use because its the only one we got. Continental Kits, parts packs, frames, steel rims, straight axle front ends, traction bars, customizing parts. I liked the Impalas but i think they would only go to a select few.Scale people and the gas station set along with other sets would be very interesting. Lastly it comes down to how hard is it going to be to do some of this and how good it turns out. I really dont mind paying the money, but the more I pay the better I expect the quality. Iceman maybe put out a list /or ask for alist of rare hard to find things that people would like to see made and see where that takes you. Keep in mind any one who has one of these may need to offer it up so a mold can be made ! Just my thoughts, i wish I wasnt allergic to resin i would love to build that willys as a Monster truck with a hillbilly moonshine theme !

ok iceman, i voted. i personally have never messed with resin so i don't know if i like it or not(sorry to hear about your allergy gb). my votes were for the 49 willys(i'd like to do one like stacy david did or monster-ized like gb) the 48 plymouth(just because it's kool and i like it) and my final vote was for other. by other i'm thinking of mainly parts and specificly stuff ford truck grills from the destroyer1 or bigfoot1 kits(i belong to a couple 4by/monter truck forums and this item seems to be scarce and sought after. i myself am looking for one and when they can be found on e-bay they're like $20) some things i'd personally like to have would be 1/25 scale hand-tools, toolboxes and/or other "brick-a-brack" detail stuf for garage dioramas. yes i know these things are available elsewhere but i'd rather give my money to someone who i already know to be a straight-shooter and consider a friend:) well that's my $.02

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys have given me a great looking list. Feel free to jump back in this thread and add anything you would like and I'll add it to my list and let you know when I have something ready to cast.
Overwhelming response to this. Took a little while to gain speed but you guys responded like I hoped as you always do. Thanks for your help.

And here is to show you where I'm at. These are the newest set of lancer hubcaps I casted. Bottom ones are the masters. Set on the tape is drying from the chrome paint. Still need to clear. Not too bad. A vintage soft drink vending machine. Left one is master. And finally the brand plates each body will have. Still need to sand them down a bit so they aren't too thick.
