Using AMT Rides snap kit.
Going to build it as a stripe delete car. Started by stripping chrome from several parts. Wheels painted silver and cleared. And with brakes detailed.
Details of intake and valve covers.
Chassis plate. Wont really be able to see anything from bottom of car so some things probably wont get painted.
Rear suspension and engine assembly. Not bad details for a snap kit. Most of the assembly wont be seen since body doesn't open.
Despite 18 temps here in NC, I hope to have the body painted later today. Thanks for looking.

That's awesome! Doing snap kits never even crossed my mind until now. Good work.

I've gotten more done on GT. Assembled the passenger compartment.
Changed color of wheels. The more I looked at them, the more I didn't like how they turned out so I painted them Duplicolor chrome. I like them much better.
Got body painted Duplicolor Toyota Stellar Blue.
After polish with polish not pads. Too many curves and scoops to worry about burning through paint. Pictures were taken after it got cloudy so it appears less shiny.
After three coats of clear but still cloudy. Will let it dry overnight and polish the clear.

I got the chassis plate finished. I didn't paint some things under front hood since they will never be seen once body is installed.
You can see from picture that one of the upper chassis supports doesn't meet its slot. Wont be able to tell when body is installed. Speaking of body, I got it polished and detailed. In process of removing front lower grille, I broke front spoiler. Hopefully wont be able to tell once it is mounted.
