That is looking good. I know you said silver but have you thought of it as a base color and a transparent one on top? I'm dead set on silver. It will however be getting a clear coat.

Finally got around to doing some work on this beast. Hit a couple of snags along the way and lost motivation, but I'm so close to finishing now there is no turning back. lol Here are some teaser shots of the progress. Enjoy guys.

Thanks Knarf! I managed to get a couple more things done on it. Trying to find the time to run the compressor when I dont have sleeping room mates is rough. lol So here is some hand painted stuff. That wraps up the rear bumper until I get a chance to spray some semi-gloss clear on the black insert. The finish is a little uneven so I'm going to shoot some gloss, apply the decals, then apply some semi-gloss to finish it off. Updates soon!

Hit a snag with the supplied mesh. It was coming apart as I was cutting it, and even losing end strands while I was just handling it. Thankfully, the Aoshima Rasty S13 kit I'm building came with an extra sheet of mesh. Revell on the left, Aoshima on the right. Got all the body vents filled, looks great I think.

Coming along really nicely. I love the 360's in silver, it just really suits them. Looking forward to seeing more progress. Josh.

It's a good kit, and tho engine shows cost cutting and "molded-on" parts. By using variable metallics, careful brush detailing and a few wires/hoses can result in a WOW of a model. Good luck!

Thanks. I need to switch brands for my Semi-Gloss Black. The Model Master stuff gives you good coverage, but it goops up WAY too easy. The lid on my jar has been vice-gripped off twice in the short time i've had it. Any suggestions? Forgot to post these by the way. Enjoy! Mocked with the engine. The interior is about wrapped up as well, but those pics come another time.

Next time you have a stuck paint lid try holding it under running hot water for a little bit dry it off and should come off my silver has always been the troubled one for me ! This is coming along nicely
