Hello everyone, I am Jonathan, new to the forum, but not build models, like everyone else here, I am addicted to plastic, and I dont want to go to a 12 step program to get help, I am in my 30s, and I pretty much build from the mid 70s up to anything current, I am pretty active in the hobby locally, I am member of two clubs, we are the group that does Desert Scale Classic in April here, I guess that is about it.

Welcome, There is a lot to see so look around. if you need anything just ask we are a pretty helpful bunch. Looking forward to seeing some of your builds and we have a spot for model show pictures if you care to post some from your clubs Desert Classic !

welcome to the club. what's this '12 step program' you speak of? I wonder if it's like ours? 1 buy model 2 buy paint for model 3 get 1st model 1/2 done, buy another model 4 buy supplies for new model 5 buy another kit of model #1 6 buy more supplies for 3rd model 7 go to model show, buy many more kits 8 stack kits in room, look at them, create ideas for new additions to stash 9 crack open kit #3 10 build 1/2 of kit #3, set aside.... 11 open another kit and start it 12 get bored with whatever it is your building, go to hobby shop and buy more models it's a process.....  |

Welcome Jon let us know when you guys have contests and us westerners may come over Thank you everyone for the welcome Right now the only strictly automotive contest is Desert Scale Classic , and that is going to be the second Saturday of April this I believe , there are some IPMS shows, but I am not sure when those dates are yet. |
