Hey All, I'm on a couple of other boards but its always good to expand one's reach. I'm an older builder but just got back into things recently. I'm trying to do more challenging builds than my usual mild customs. Working on a '57 T-bird custom that I ran into a prob with last night (that whole measure twice, cut once thing), have a longer term resin build I'm working on (Cadillac XLR Pro Modish race car), and I have a Pro Street '06 Camaro in the box which will be a combination of kits I parted out.

Sounds like you got some cool builds going. I have looked at that resin XLR body thinking about getting one. Would love to see your builds.
You may be surprised at how many of us here are close to your age. Quite a few of us are just getting back into building again too.
This is a fun site and everyone is helpful.

Welcome poet. I'm probably a few years younger than you I'm 34 . I just got back into this around almost two years ago and trying to learn. This is a great place with lots of great guys so make yourself at home

Welcome poet great place to be great people here lots of info also , I'm past the big 60 myself been building since 12 years old (off & on) can't and or Don't want to stop having to much fun guess I'm addicted to plastic ! Look around , would to see some of your build and have fun .  |

Here are my complete builds. I don't have an update of the Stang because I screwed up the windshield and have to get another one. The Impala was my first one since coming back. I hope this is the right way to post images :-}   |

Hey Poet, welcome to Jerry's Cherry's. I think you have the posting of pics down. Would love to see some progress pics of the Mustang. Feel free to create a thread in the under construction folder, if you havent already, and show us where youre at.

welcome to the club. I too am just getting back into it [since @ sept.], great addiction to have. I too built as a kid/teen, then life happened. i'm 44, but at the bench i'm 15 again [but with a better paycheck to buy kits].

It has been many moons, but I've spent time in NE Ohio...had an aunt in Mentor, and a cousin in Ashtabula. I lived over near Lorain until I was 9, then the family moved to Colorado.
