This is one replica of the Tin Indians that I want to build. I am from Akron Ohio and remember seeing this car in the showroom. A friend of mine also worked on it back in the day. This is the car that I am trying to replicate. This has the White sprayed on the bottom. Here it is with the Black added to the top. I'll post some updated pics as soon as I get them loaded into the computer. Thanks fer lookin. Dan

Here are a couple more pics with some of the decals on. I spent this past week putting these decals on this car. They are from Fred Cady. I really don't care for two part decals but these are all that are available for the Tin Indians. One thing about these is the outline letters on the decal sheet are Red and I had to scan them and then print them out in Black. Same thing for the Black stripe under the Gold stripe on the body. This one shows the Black letter outlines. I did these this morning. Now, I'll spend next week on the other side of the car installing the decals. Thanks fer lookin. Dan

Coming along great. I hadn't noticed how much of a difference some outlining can do.

Thanks Grandpa. I got some more work done on this car last night. I got the decals on the right side and boy, they were worse than the left side, but they're on there. I also started to install the BMF today and more of that tomorrow. Then it's more work on the headers. I'm trying to make copies of the headers from the Revell 68 Firebird for this car and I'm not having much luck yet. I'll keep trying though. Here are a couple of pics fer ya of how she looks now. Thanks fer lookin. Dan

Thanks Skip. I got er done tonight. I really enjoyed building this replica of the car that Knafel Pontiac ran back in the 60's. This is the last build for this year and the 65 GTO will be the first one done in 2014. Here are some pics fer ya. I have over 50 pics in my photobucket ifin ya would like to see the build process. I had to make copies of the headers from the 68 Firebird kit and modify the frame on this one to get the headers to fit. I also made the side windows. Thanks fer lookin and HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. I hope that next year is a good year for everyone. Dan
