If it's any consolation, it looks like you're already further along than I am.

I just started the planning stage of mine too! I'm sure all 3 of us will come up with something cool to build out of this kit! I may even have to buy another one to keep! hahaha!

Removed drip rail, door hinges running boards and bed floor, glued fenders to cab and bed together gotta cut this up some removed these plus more got it fitting so far pretty good first test mock up what you think ? had to shrink the roll cage what a tight fit ! that's it so far got lots of work yet post more soon any comments welcome

This rates up there with one of the most imaginative ideas so far! Cut them fenders off too while you're at it!

You're quite talented and very good at thinking outside the box! Wanna build a pro mod chassis for me? LOL

Hey, not trying to pressure you my friend! MCM site has 2 what I would call master builders that specialize in pro mods. I've got a long line of chassis builds; everything from brass to styrene that I could hopefully draw from and if I start with a body, I could fit a chassis build underneath somehow. What a nightmare that would be. Maybe in a year's time

Paul: Looking awesome man! Any progress on the engine yet? what are the requirements? NASCAR has the 350ci's I believe; I don't know much about the dirt cars except most of the open wheel type seem to use small block 327/350. Your's is gonna look sweet for sure. I have a nice MSD resin box, pre painted and decal'd if you need it.

Paul: Your truck is looking sweet already! You and Iceman with your ability to just slice things up and make em so sharp, its really impressive! And adding the roll cage? Wow. I can't wait to see how this ride plays out. You're putting a lot of effort into this and it really shows. Very inspiring for a new builder like me!
