Here's something I picked a few years ago , when you handle chrome parts by hand (small parts) you leave finger prints and smudge the chrome finish to prevent this I started wearing surgical rubber gloves the only problem was my hands would start sweating a lot so I decided to cut the ends of the thumb and a finger off and use them it worked . You can pick a box of gloves at Wal Greens or any drug store for a few bucks most times 50 or more gloves in one box lasts for a long time . this works unless you are allergic to Laytex rubber . Some of you may all ready know this , but I hope it helps some one . Thanks They work great for holding chrome bumpers to paint turn signals and grilles and installing them on your projects

Good tip. Also you can do this when handling parts you have just final prepped for paint, like when you are getting ready to spray the body. The oils and acids from your skin can effect your paint jobs.

That's is a great tip. You can actually find them already cut up. Search for them as finger condoms, or fingercots.
