The great thing is that you can take any kit you have, even if its the shiniest one of all and just start sanding away. Once you get all the gloss off in most places, you find some of the corners or areas where rust usually builds. I use rust colored paint, and some brown sand or dirt and also brush it on while the rust paint is wet. To rust everything on this one took me about 3 hours. And I made a huge mess. Sand, dirt everywhere. Haha!it does take a bit of time but the more you rust and the better it looks, the less you want to stop.

You are so good it's scary. Remind me to NEVER go up against you on ANY build.

Yeh Iceman, I'll post some pics when I get a chance. I think I already have some from before I got rid of the larger half of stuff, like a row of 50's and 60's Cadillacs.

It' s really awesome ! Except that my heart would bleed in using a model kit to make such a diorama...maybe I'm not ready yet ! I really suffer for spoiled and broken cars !!

If you like old rusted cars...I recently discovered this site: www.oldparkedcars.com/It's all about cars found along streets or parked in barns...with some good example of rust !!
