I found a gold in my spray paint box called Tamiya TS-75 Champagne Gold and it sprayed nicely over the Tamiya TS-21 Gold that is already on the body. It is not exactly the color I want, but I had it. More GTO to come...

Sometimes color choices are definitely dictated by what's on hand Mike. This is a good subtle color choice for this ride. On the lookout for more on this beauty.

Thanks Joe! You are correct as we sometimes have to go with what we have available to us at home or the office.

Looks great so far Mike. Nice work on the engine and the second color looks much better I think.

I assembled the wheels and tires to the GTO. I decided to use the Hurst wheels and the last of my Shabo Tire Graphics. I drilled out the ends of the exhaust system and painted the insides with Tamiya XF-1 Flat Black. I have painted many of the parts by hand and will paint the rest with spray cans. More '66 GTO to come...
