I started this project years ago for entry into the Classic Plastic Model Club Exhibition. Since then, I have changed projects for the Club Challenge and I made some changes to this project and I screwed up the paint job on the hood and I have put this one on the shelf for the time being. Then Covid hit and everything changed. Now this project is coming back to the bench. The body has been painted, chassis and interior painted and assembled, but the hood had to be stripped and repainted. More Boss 302 to come...

I've heard alot of good things about these kits. This one is turning out very well so far Mike. Is the rear sitting down just a tad lower than the front? Not a bad thing, mind you. Just curious.
Looking forward to more.....

This appears to be a good kit! Just my bad luck showing through. The new nose piece is a winner for sure. The body has not been glued to the chassis so the model is not "set".

I spent a few minutes on the Boss 302 tonight. I added the lights and turn signals, stanchions for the rear spoiler and I masked the rear panel for some flat black paint. More Boss 302 to come...

This is looking GOOD so far Mike. I'll tell ya brother....I know all about dog hair. I've got a Lab/ Shephard mix and she sheds like CRAZY. I've got my spare room that I model in and NO dogs are allowed in there for just that reason. Plus, I keep the carpet vacuumed up in there at all times. I really need to pull that stuff up anyways and go for tile.

My terrier mix has full run of the model cave and like you, I should pull up the carpet, but right now it is cost prohibitive. I need to redo the entire floor itself and I just had my left knee replaced and the right knee will be replaced in June.

Yours too?!!! I have a Terrier Mix and he sheds like crazy! I vacuum my hobby room and the dirt cup is full of dog hair. I empty it out and when I'm done, I have to empty it again because it is full!
